Game Concept

The game is set to be a survival game In an underground laboratory with a containment gone wrong. A containment breached occurred thus you as the player must escape the lab before ‘it’ gets you. The player must finish specific tasks in order to escape but something will interfere with the player’s plan of escape.

Gameplay

Objectives

The Player’s main goal takes the role of the representing scientist to successfully escape the facility through a pod unlocked by solving tasks and navigating through the maze. The player can control a drone to assist the player in escaping.

Game Progression

The advancement of the game revolves around the player's objectives and events throughout the game. The map layout of the game is created essentially at random, creating a playable and unpredictable map layout automatically, to provide the player with satisfactory entertainment while exploring the entire lab. However, when performing tasks or activities, it is already entirely premade by our team, it consists of different puzzles that challenge the player. As the player completes tasks or activities in the lab, his escape progress increases as he fixes all the essential components in order to fix the escape pod.

Mission/challenge Structure

The tasks/missions of the player are to complete objectives that require stealth and problem-solving skills.

Puzzle Structure

Different kinds of puzzles are to be completed. The number of tasks is dependent on the difficulty of the game.
